The Year Abroad is compulsory for all students on a 4-year Liberal Arts degree programme in which 'Expressions: Language and Culture' is a named major or minor subject, and it is taken in the third year at QMUL. Students may have the opportunity to choose different placement types, and will be registered for year or semester abroad modules to a total value of 120 credits according to the activities they undertake.
