This 5-week module offers a foundation in writing for academic study. It will take you through the stages you need to go through while writing any assignment. You will learn how to unpack assignment questions, analyse assessment criteria and use sources effectively to construct a coherent, logical and well-supported text. You will study how to plan your assignment, taking you from initial brainstorming, through critical reading to drafting, revising and handing in.
