Browse Hierarchy COM300: The Scene of Writing
This module aims to acquaint students with a varied corpus of fictional and theoretical writings around the themes of writing and the author. There are three main aims: 1) to explore the ways in which writing and authorship are thematized and represented in literature, film and the visual arts; 2) to examine changes in the ways writing and authors have been perceived in critical and theoretical writings about literature and cinema; 3) to enhance students' writing and job presentation skills within the context of the age of digital and online culture, and thus improve their career prospects.
