This module provides students with hands-on research experience, applying cutting-edge machine learning and artificial intelligence methods to a real-world problem. Students will be able to select a suitable area of interest before being paired with an academic supervisor who will monitor progress and allow small groups of students to compare their approaches and results. Students' results will form part of an ongoing portfolio of project work, of use for further study and / or employment
