The JP in Materials Science and Engineering at NPU will be taught in English. This module will further develop the English language skills of students on the JP, extending them and ensuring that students are fully capable of meeting the demands of studying and being examined in English. The module will extend students' receptive skills of reading and listening, as well as their productive skills of speaking and writing, and will offer extensive practice in formal and informal communication, using presentations, essays and English clubs. There will be a strong emphasis on scientific English.
