This module will enable the students to build on their learning from the modules in Semester 1 and 2. Students will develop their understanding of the organisation of health care (primarily in the UK, pathophysiology and the different factors that influence health and illness and ethical issues on clinical practice. In addition there will be support to develop the student's Clinical Aptitude. Classroom-based sessions will introduce them to health care ethos and values, pathophysiology, sociology and psychology as applied to clinical practice.
