"This module will enable students to understand key basic scientific concepts and principles that underpin clinical medical and dental practice. The focus will be on basic Chemistry as relevant to the practising clinician. The module aims to bring participants from Year 12 level in Chemistry to the equivalent of A-level standard. his module expands upon topics covered in Introduction to Chemistry and provides a further introduction to the fundamentals of chemistry; including topics such as thermochemistry, reaction kinetics and equilibria, molecular structure, aspects of organic chemistry, and spectroscopic methods."
