Debate on globalisation remains very polarised with different perspectives regarding the extent to which law serves as a shield against or a driver of globalisation. This module looks at the impact of globalisation on legal systems as well as the role played by the law to regulate globalisation. This module will focus on law at various levels (i.e. national, regional, international and transnational), the activities of international organisations (such as WTO, World Bank and IMF), and the role played by multinational enterprises in a globalised legal landscape.
