The module will cover the emergence of systems of global governance, particularly as they relate to global, international and national health challenges. It will describe the way in which global and international health policy is constructed, covering the content, process and actors (e.g. the WHO, the Gates Foundation, bilateral aid agencies and the corporate sector). It will examine the challenges and tensions inherent in the development of global policies that are relevant to national and local contingencies.
