This module builds on the skills you have developed in first year to prepare you for your final-year dissertation. You will produce a research project, involving independent research and writing, within a framework of skills workshops, seminars and peer review sessions. You will have flexibility in choosing the topic and format of your project from a selection of options reflecting the chronological, geographic, and thematic range of the School. Each project is tied to an online archive where you will engage in sustained research using primary sources. You will also work with Writing Partners in seminar to read each other's work and provide feedback as your project develops.
