This module will consider design specific to Medical Devices, both implantable and external devices. It will consider the range of stakeholders, the industrial, clinical and patient perspectives on the design of medical devices and the requirement to develop a product ready for taking to market. In the coursework the students will develop a design idea, based around a defined clinical problem, as part of a group project.
