Browse Hierarchy ECN381: Finance Case Studies

The main aim of the module is to provide students with the necessary skills to perform valuation of the firms, securities and other assets. Every week during the classes, students will enhance those skills by applying appropriate valuation techniques to specific firms in real business finance case studies. The lectures and classes will make extensive use of case studies. This will allow students to come as close as possible, within a context of a classroom, to the experience of real world decision makers in corporations and investment banks, to recognise the uncertainty and the ambiguity that is present in every such decision.
