Browse Hierarchy ECN377: International Financial Strategy

The focus of the course is on understanding how the global environment affects the decision making of managers in corporations. Students will develop a strategic understanding of key financial decisions faced by organizations by putting them into an international context. While the module discusses the theoretical basis on the various issues and topics, it also mixes in empirical evidence and discussion of firms' actual behaviors and for that reason lectures will be also based on case studies of multinational corporations. Students will use prior knowledge of International Finance and valuation methods to build upon ideas in global financial markets and foreign investment decisions.
