This module enhances students¿ empirical skills by demonstrating how to use econometric methods to analyse data in a hands-on environment. Models and techniques to be applied may include panel data, instrumental variables, and binary dependent variables, among others. The empirical questions to be addressed may be drawn from a variety of applied contexts, such as the economics of education, labour economics, political economy, macroeconomics, and the economics of crime.
