This 5-week module aims to build confidence in your ability to listen to lectures and increase your lecture participation. You will learn how to take comprehensive lecture notes and develop effective note-taking strategies. You will learn ways of identifying key points in lectures by examining the role of introductions, signposting language and repetitions. You will also develop an understanding of different lecturing styles and appreciate the role of lecture preparation in being able to fully engage with the lecture content.
