The module builds on the concepts introduced in Mechanics of Fluids I to study inviscid, incompressible flow over aircraft wings. The concepts of stream function, velocity potential, vorticity and circulation are developed and exact solutions of flow over some simple two-dimensional bodies are discussed. From this basis, methods are developed for calculating forces and moments on thin wing sections and finite-span wings in low-speed flow.
