You will read literature from around the world in order to explore how texts can be connected and compared, as well as the challenges we encounter when we read across borders: translation, adaptation, lack of cultural context, etc. The module is divided into three distinct blocks: 'Key Debates'; 'Colonialism'; and `World Literature.'
