This module is intended for all chemistry and pharmaceutical chemistry students and focuses on basic concepts of computer programming, with emphasis on problem-solving and data analysis. This will include visualisation, analysis and modelling of data and principles of Artificial Intelligence (AI). The module will also offer students opportunities to develop soft skill useful for the transition to the job market as well as providing opportunities for training in preparation for the third-year project. Finally, Large Language Models (LLMs) tools useful for education and research will be introduced to students to support their studies and future career.
