This module will analyse the relationship between the changing role of the corporation, corporate strategy, and social justice. Learners will be introduced to the workings of the economy and its key actors, considering the various roles played by the corporation, the state, and civil society actors such as unions and NGOs. It will examine how these actors shape social justice issues, including questions of sustainability and good governance, and encourage critical reflection on the place of business in promoting social justice.
