In this module, students will work in small teams to deliver a project based on a written specification for a piece of software. The teams will be required to design an appropriate software architecture and development plan, with specific tasks assigned to individual team members. The project involves elements of genomics, post-genomics, coding and statistics that are taught in earlier modules as well as some new topics. This module provides a simulation of a real software development environment, providing invaluable experience for future employability.
