Browse Hierarchy BDS4009: Basic Sciences for Dentistry 2
This module builds on the knowledge gained in Basic Dental Science 1 to look further in depth at head and neck anatomy and physiology, risks and benefits of different dental materials, and will consider how different organs work together as physiological body systems. By highlighting normal body functions and how they are altered in common diseases the module emphasises the close relationship between general and oral health, and how this will influence your clinical practice. The material presented in this module will set the stage for advanced clinical knowledge.
